    Breathing like the waves is perfect for those feelings of anxiety or when you feel a panic attack starting to come on - or even if you want to check out of your situation for a minute or two.

    Do you know that if you focus on your breathing - which is after all is the most important thing you can ever do at any one time - all else relaxes and comes into focus and balance? When you count your breaths your mind cannot think of anything else.

    Wave breathing is taking the motion of the waves and bringing this into your lungs, heart and body.

    It is very simple - and very important that you count your breath.

    Breathe in two, three, four

    Hold two, three, four

    Out two, three, four

    Hold two, three, four

    Breathe in two, three, four,

    Hold two, three, four

    Out two, three, four

    REPEAT x 5 or whatever feels comfortable for you.

    Imagine that you are watching the waves, as they come into the shore, kiss the shoreline, recede back into the sea and build up for the next wave.
